The Basics

A Boy Scout is many things.  Mostly he is guided by principles that will follow him throughout his life.  Many of these principles are found in the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto, Scout Slogan, and the Outdoor Code.

A Boy Scout is loyal to his God, family and country.  He should know and understand the Pledge of Allegiance to his country.  He should show reverence to his God and respect to his family.

His fellow Boy Scouts and the adult leaders will help him to understand and make these principles part of his nature.
